Great Beginner's Package.
I bought this as a self taught(Using my Classical Guitar training), beginning bassist. For the price, it's a great package and well worth the money.
The Guitar itself is nice: 21 frets, single pick-up and volume/tone knobs. The finish is good and the neck has a very smooth feel. The tuning heads stay in place and are easy to adjust.
The Amp is quite decent with your basic controls, and gets modest sound and a lot of volume.
The extra parts of the package probably won't get much use other than the cable and strap. The cable is very thin and with a more distorted tone a static-like sound comes from the amp it should probably get replaced. The strap isn't the best quality but it holds the guitar which is all it needs to do. The bag is very thin and I wouldn't carry the guitar in it without grabbing around it, but it works to keep dust off the Bass. The tuner's finicky but works fine, the picks are "mediums" and it also comes with adjustment pieces and instructions for fixing the neck(if necessary).

Great for a starter
The guitar is awesome, but the amp isn't too much to brag about, the strap is great. For the money, it is a complete steal if you are beginning then this pack is for you because it has your essentials and i LOVE it.

A STEAL!!!!!
Ok, first of all, the whole package is very good. The bass is very reliable and is nice for beginners. The amp isn't too bad either. Besides that, you might want to replace the gig bag cause its like paper, and you should think about getting and new strap because mine snapped when I had it on. Besides those two things, GO AND GET IT!!!!!!!

Ideal for beginners
This package was given to me for christmas last year. It has definately taught me alot about playing bass, I would recomend it to anyone that wants to get into playing bass. The amp is... well... it makes sound, the strap has never slipped or come loose on me, the tuner works great, the cord will last for about 3 months, and the bass itself is comfortable its fairly light and the tuners hold great. Overall its a great package and it will definately teach you everything you need to know about playing bass.
