  • The Most Beautiful thing

As reviewed by Natalya Maxine on 11/26/2010

i fell in love with this guitar the moment i walked into the store and i HAD to have it. I've seen it online, but its soo much more beautiful in person with its intricate design. As for feel, i myself am petite and i do not like dreadnought guitars so if u were considering the ibanez EW20ASE Exotic Wood Ash Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar which is actually bigger but equally beautiful, i would go for the dean if you prefer smaller guitars. The guitar also sounds amazing plugged in or just alone. Its sound is loud, vibrant and sooo beautiful and it has aphex!!....everyone should buy this guitar

  • I wanted to love it

As reviewed by david on 12/30/2014

I had my eye on a few acoustics lately and my wife suprised me christmas morning with this. It is gorgeous, in a cubic zirconia kind of way, which is fine for the price. The sound left a lot to be desired, plugged in it sounds OK, the aphex I think strips personality and is an effort to produce a warm sound from an instrument that in itself is not able to do so. Brights sound OK but there is no warmth or personality to the tone of this guitar. I dropped in on my closest GC store yesterday and will be returning this and setting my sights on a taylor 114, 214, or 314CE. The difference in sound between this and a Taylor or breedlove is jaw dropping. I really did want to love this guitar.
