  • AWESOME

As reviewed by Rob on 2/26/2011

Just purchased mine a couple days ago, and man is it worth the money. Plays and feels like a $1000+ guitar. The sound is really nice and the onboard electronics work great. This is my first Dean and I will definitely own more in the future. Cannot say enough good about it. I am convinced you won't find anything close to it in the price range. Dean has a new customer for life.

  • Great, Great Guitar

As reviewed by Zach on 11/8/2010

I got this Performer in Classic Black. Right when I got it, I was astounded, by not only the look, but by who crisp the sound was. On top of that, the tuner is amazing. It is one of the most accurate tuners that I have ever used. It is extraordinary when it is either plugged in or unplugged. When I performed with this Dean, it came to life, and was complemented on it by more than one person. If you want a cheap acoustic-electric, this is definitly the way to go.

  • Awesome second guitar

As reviewed by Keith Shaw-Binns on 3/2/2011

I purchased a $100 guitar from Walmart, to start teaching myself, and practiced for almost 12 months. My wife and one of my sons were impressed by my progression and decided to buy me this guitar as a surprise for Christmas 2009 (i'd been eying it up for weeks on the Guitar Center website). Well, my wife took me to Guitar Center in Naperville IL and as soon as I picked it up we bonded. I had it restrung with 11 strings and it sounds awesome, I also got an amp from my inlaws, which I rarely use because the guitar sounds so good unplugged. Now i'm playing along to some favorite songs plus some I never knew before, all self taught via the internet. I did have to have the guitar adjusted once, but it stays in tune forever when re tuned. I hope to be visiting again soon for my next guitar, but I won't be part exchanging my wonderful Dean :) By the way... I have double jointed fingers and cannot Barr chord, but don't let that put you off, I can play over 200 songs and my list grows weekly... I have to add, I love visiting Guitar Center, the staff are like friends they never presure you and are so informed about what they sell. Thank you Guitar Center!!!
