The Dean Natural Series Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar with Aphex comes ready for the studio or stage with some exciting electronics from DWC. The onboard Aural Excitier and Big bottom Circuitry combine to offer you studio-quality enhancement of your guitar sound whenever and wherever you plug in.
The dreadnought size body has a Solid sitka spruce top with mahogany back and sides. Its set mahogany neck has a comfortable C shape and an ebony fingerboard with abalone dot inlays. A Graph Tech nut & saddle and Grover tuners help keep things smoothly in tune. Visual appointments include black hardware and herringbone binding.
Aural Exciter
This is the real and original Aural Exciter especially optimized for musical instruments. It can variously be described as adding “air”, “bite”, “definition” or clarity to the sound by interactively creating and manipulating the harmonics of sound waves. It increases tonal range and expression, whether running clean or overdriven, adding power and attack without increasing output level.
Big Bottom
For acoustic instruments it adds a warmer tone that makes the instrument sound rich. It’s not a synthesizer. It takes what is there and enhances it. Bass frequencies are richer, deeper and more articulate and the emotional impact of your instrument’s tone is highlighted.
