Helix Strings represent a giant leap forward in the evolution of string technology. Helix's patent-pending Elliptical Winding process brings new life to your music with a smoother feel, and a richer, more resonant tone that is unrivalled by conventional strings.
These pure nickel Helix strings marry the ultimate in longevity and sustain with warm tone and pristine clarity. Pure Nickel strings are easier on the frets and gentler to the touch, creating less distortion for clearly distinguished notes within chords and high speed runs.
Helix's patented Hyper-Elliptical compressed winding process allows for an increased number of wraps across the length of the string without altering its diameter, resulting in fuller tone, incredible sustain, and an increased life span.

Comments about Dean Markley Helix Pure Nickel Light Top Heavy Bottom Electric Guitar Strings (10-52):
I originally put these in on my Lyon LL15 and had them on for about 1 year or so. I had troubles with my strings over time struggling to stay in tune, specifically my G string. It was always falling in and out of tune and it was never truly tuned during it's life. I then turned this guitar into my heavy metal (the lower drop tunings) and installed D'Addario .13 gauge strings. The d'Addario strings work better for me within a short period of time compared to how long I've used the other strings.
I just installed the second set I bought at the time into my fender strat guitar and I'm relatively surprised they're working better so far.. just now the issue is in my D string.
Good string set over all though, it lasted me for a year or longer with minor tone issues in only one string in both sets. But since for that, I wouldn't bring these into a concert or gig, but they are amazing back up and practicing strings.
