Awesome Strings!

By andrew drane

from Menomonie, WI

I've been using these strings for years. Every set I've had has lasted a long time in comparison to other strings I've tried. I love the added brightness in steel strings. I will continue using these for a long time I imagine!!

Good for awhile.

from Texas

I loved these strings! Then after only 3 weeks they started to corrode. I was very disappointed about this. They sounded great for awhile and then they went bad really quick. They also come out of tune alot more than other strings do I don't know why or how but they just do.

Terrible. Absolutely terrible

By JD Stepro

from Houston, Texas

I had Blue Steel Strings on my bass, so i figured that they would be good on my guitar too. I bought 3 packs of these so i had spares. All of the strings are corroded and are impossible to play with a good tone after about 1-2 months. As a seasoned guitarist and bassist, i need good strings so that i am not constantly replacing and retuning after only a few shows. These strings are a real letdown. i do not suggest these to anyone. Buy some Ernie Ball Strings.

Best Strings Ever!!!

By Thaddeus Lee

from Bothell, WA

I could tell from the first time I hit a note that these strings are different. They have an airy openness about them, even with EMG's, that produces a crisp clear bell like tone that I've been craving for years. I play in drop B with a mix matched set of Medium and heavy strings: 60-46-36-18-13-11. (BTW you can order single strings through a local retailer, I needed a 60 for the low B so I called Dean Markley to see what they'd recommend and they shipped me a pack of (6) 60's at no charge and informed me of this) I've gotten close with other strings but either they didn't last or they they were too hazey. These have warm bass and crisp mids with a smooth top end that will make everything you do on your guitar sound better. Also,I am not an employee of Dean Markley in any way but they now have my loyalty
