Dean Markley Vintage Electric Guitar Reissue Strings are nickel-plated steel hand-wound slowly over a round core. The outer string wrap has 100% contact with the core wire. This allows the string to vibrate completely for maximum sustain, creating a warm, full sound distinctive of classic rock and roll.
Dean Markley 1973 Vintage Reissue Electric Guitar Strings are made to the same exacting specs as the original Vintage Electric strings that won the hearts of players around the world. The combination of outer wrap alloy, special round cores, and core-to-wrap ratios make these strings sing with power and punch. Long life is just a bonus.

I have 14 guitars and I use Dean's 1973 on all of them. They have great warm sound and are easy on the fingers. Longer lasting is just a super bonus! I recommend these strings to everyone.
I've been using these for the past two years and keep coming back for more. The Dean Markley 1973 Vintage reissue " 10-46" are my choice above other name brands because they last longer, stay in tune and stand up to the abuse I give them with heavy bends. I used to change my strings weekly when using other strings. Not these. They go the distance and keep their tone and for the price of a 12 pack you can't beatem. Don't take my word for it, try a box. You might be surprised.
I am so glad that these stings are being produced again! I used them exclusivly in the 80's and early 90's on all my electric guitars. I have seen the future, and it is Dean Markly Vintage Reissue Electric Guitar Strings. Thanks Guitar Center
