Amazing Results from a "presto" Pickup

I have been strumming a steel string acoustic Takamine for about 15 years. I thought of getting an electric recently but I've been hesitant because I'm not sure if I'd be satisfied with whatever inexpensive electric I could afford. Most electrics I tried that I liked were around $400 or more. But then I stumbled upon this little gadget. This product is extremely impressive for what it does and how easy it is to install. For anyone who ever had a nice acoustic guitar but wanted to try an electric without spending time and money selecting a new electric guitar should try this. You simply fit the padded device into the sound hole as described in the instructions and presto, you have an electric guitar. Plug into an amp or as in my case, a digital recording studio and you have an infinite number of rich electric sounds to make. You'll be pleasantly surprised because this will make your acoustic guitar sound very natural in a clean set-up or as raunchy as you want it with a heavy distortion set-up on your amp/studio/processor. It's amazing. Placing one of these in your favourite acoustic guitar is like getting a brand new electric guitar soul in the body of what you already know and love. It's totally awesome because this pickup will let you keep your acoustic sound even amplified, or enable you to live the freedom of a full blown electric guitar in all it's glory. To top it all off, you're using the legendary "humbucker" to do this - with absolutely no invasive action to your guitar. The clarity and richness this pickup provides is as beautiful as you want it. Yet, in the same manner, it has the ability to give you the mindblowing heavy electric sound when your sounding device is set up for such. This pick-up let's you have it all - acoustic or electric. Unless you need to show off an electric axe on stage, this little device will surprise your ears. I was totally blown away with the results.

Exactly what i needed

This acoustic pick up was exactly what i needed. I wanted to write a review to help you out there that are looking to buy something like this. ive never used an a acoustic pick up, ive always had an acoustic-electric guitar, but then i bought a straight acoustic and need to beable to plug in. I didnt know what sound i would get with this. it is great tho, it keeps your acoustic sound and is easy to install. So for those people out there that dont know if they should buy it because your worried about the sound it will produce, i would recommend buying it, trust me it will keep your acoustic sound.

Just too good to be true.

This pickup is just too good to be true. I thought that it would suck but decided to try it anyway. It sounds very realistic and is easily installed. Just stick in the soundhole and you're set. I just needed to amplify my acoustic guitar at first because micing it had too much feedback. So this worked and I can throw on some gain and shred or solo. If you have a nice acoustic and can't mic it or plug it up already. Then get this.

Great sound, but I have one complaint

For as affordable as this pickup is, I'm very impressed that it gives me such a full, natural sound. I haven't had any problems with feedback either. However the cord crackles quite a bit if I move around while playing. It's tolerable, but I'm still trying to come up with ways to fix it. But overall, great sound.

Terrible Sound

I bought this pickup to record with Garage Band. In order to get a recording with any volume I had to turn the gain way up which gave me a lot of hiss on the recording. I didn't get the beautiful sound quality that other people had experienced.
