    I have tried MANY brands of strings. D'addario, DR, and Rotosound are just some of the brands. These Blue Steel strings have simply outlived them all. After well over a year of playing they're still as bright sounding and looking as ever. When I actually do need to change them, it will DEFINATELY be for another set of these.

    I use Dean Markely Blue Steels for my guitar and I just put these on a Bass I just got since I havn't had one for a while. It's a little old and not high end and the strings were dead as you could imagine. I know most strings don't work on both but these do. They sound great have good tone and if you change up the gauge you can play any different style using these you need. Try 'em they may be just what you need for your bass.

    These strings have a great sound. they are really bright and last forever. The price is great too, especially if your on a budget. A must buy.
