  • Best Strings I've ever used!

As reviewed by Adam S. on 7/9/2010

AS the title says, I love these strings. There where my first and probably will be my last. They aren't like other strings. I play these at least half an hour a day and I change only after 6 months give or take. I've only had two break. One was because I was strumming too hard and the other because I was bending like no tomorrow. If you're thinking about buying them, go out and buy them. Buy dozens, you won't be able to get enough.

  • I'm a Blue Steel guy now!

As reviewed by Brandon on 12/21/2009

These strings are just awesome. Before these, I used Ernie Ball Regulars for a while. I then switched to D'Addario (mostly 9's) and those were good and all... I liked the flexibility of the D'Addarios. Ernie Balls sound pretty good... But when put on a set of Blue Steels, my tone INSTANTLY improved! All of a sudden I was getting much more bite and growl on the low end. Not to mention the tuning stablitity improved greatly, even for a floyd rose bridge. I didn't realize how often i was tuning until now. But I highly recommend these strings especially for you blues artists out there! Great stuff!

  • They're Alright

As reviewed by Dominic on 4/5/2011

I thought I'de give these strings a try because I've heard good things about them but they aren't my thing. After I stringed my guitar up and the strings would stay in tune I played around with them a bit and although they're good for some things they aren't my style.. I usually use D'Addario Pro Steels (10-46) and those have a very very bright tone with great flexibility because they're pure steel as well as the gauge.. These strings are actually nickel plated steel which provides a little bit warmer of a tone as well as slightly more tension. I do like how harmonics come out with these strings, they're very bold and louder than most strings but like I said these strings aren't what I prefer. Im not saying these are bad strings, in fact they are really good.. Just not my thing, so give em a shot and see what you think.
