  • Great for various music styles

As reviewed by spidervampyre81 on 10/11/2006

It's always a process to find strings that hold up under changing weather conditions. Being from Kansas, It has been my experience that it can rain one day, then be extremely humid the next day. Often my strings will build up with sweat so the changing weather takes a toll on my strings, due to corroding. However, the Blue Steels wipe clean and sound as good as ever.

  • Pretty Interesting Strings

As reviewed by GibSG61 on 12/21/2006

These strings are interesting because of the way they were made. It's hard to imagine that the strings we're playing were once frozen to 320 degrees below zero. But I think I've got the wrong gauge. I usually use light gauges, but then I picked out LTHB without really realizing what it means, or checking out the guages. So that is an unfortunate thing for me, but otherwise, the strings are okay. I dont' really hear any difference except that they might have more "power". It sounds more deeper and fuller, that's sometimes okay, but I'm just not too use to that.

Like how they last and the crispness of the sound.
