Dean markley lthb strings are simply the best string I have used. They can hit the highs, lows, and everything in between. I've been using lthb along with a .060 bass string on my 7-string and it just sound perfect. You can lower the tuning on your guitar and not get that annoying buzz from the strings flapping around. I have noticed that dean markley strings seem to last longer than than its similar products. So do your ears a favor and buy these strings.
I have used the Dean Markley Light top - heavy bottom strings since the 1980's. I use them on all my guitars as I like the full bottom sound I get with them, but the top strings are easy to bend. All my guitars were made in the '60's and these strings bring out the classic sound of the guitars.
I'm pretty anal about the strings that I use. I need something that can turn my piece of shit, soon to be modified, Ibanez GAX-30 into an awesome sounding machine. These strings turned that machine into something awesome. Previously I used Ernie Ball strings, but I switched to Markley for the enviromentaly friendly promise..I'm glad I did they've lasted about a year in use, much longer than the Ernie Ball's..you need strings take it from me I'm only Markley.
