The Dean ML79 brings back some of the best features of the early days of Dean. The mahogany body and awesome flamed maple top provide great sustain. It sounds fabulous on everything from blues to classic rock to metal. Featuring a licensed Floyd Rose, 2 Dean humbuckers, 22 jumbo frets and a set mahogany neck. The ML79 is also a joy to play, with a comfortable medium neck, great intonation and superb action.

Insane

This guitar is just phenomenal. I was guitar hunting for a very long time to find that perfect guitar. I wanted to step up and get a guitar that I wouldn't need to replace. I was doubtful, but when I picked this guitar up and played it, I was in awe. I have tried countless other guitars, and I just fell in love with this guitar the moment I played it. It killed other guitars priced much higher than it in sound, feel, even the way it looks. This guitar has gained a permanent place in my collection.

sweet guitar

this is my second dean mL my first was a mL xt which is no longer made it had the floyd rose with a bolt on neck this model however takes it to another level with the set neck body and neck binding and a floyd rose its hard to beat however, i did change the bridge pickup to a dimebucker for a meaner metal tone but you can use the stock pickups also they are good for blues,rock and metal the neck pickup in this guitar is great as is. it is not to muddy and has great tone if you want a great guitar with a set neck and well made this is a great buy and it won`t break the bank

One Awesome Guitar

I've been a big Ibanez freak since I've started playing. I've tried almost every brand out there and still stayed w/Ibanez. Recently picked up a Dean ML79 reissue and it is the best freaking guitar I have ever played. Comfortable, and the neck is so much more accessable. Sounds, looks, and plays great. No wonder Dime chose these over all others.

...sweet

This guitar is totally awesome. It has souful cleans and crisp, heavy distortion, Dean style. You may want to change the stock pick-ups, but they are decent (what else would you expect?). The floyd rose also isnt exactly the best quality. But then again, the rich tone, radical shape, and beautiful finish make up for these minor flaws. It is one sweet guitar.

Really good guitar

Really good guitar and greeat deal for it just throw some bill lawerence L-500XL and this is much better then the FBD dean with the fruity stickers. This guitar is for anyone who likes blues, rock, jazz , and metal to death,melodic metal. 4 out of 5 really good guitar.
