  • AWESOME!!!

As reviewed by Sean on 6/25/2010

I bought mine new about 6 years ago and love it. Plays great with or without amp and has a crisp sound to it. Feels and plays like the day I bought it.

  • Used Exotica RSE

As reviewed by John on 10/27/2009

Bought this used seven years ago. It sounded great at the time, but after I changed the strings, it didn't sound quite as nice. I was still learning, so I didn't understand. About a year ago, I started to research how guitars are built. I noticed that the piece of thin plastic they used for the saddle was broken on one side. I found replacements after six months of looking, as I didn't want to pay to have bridge reset and amp change. Now, I am amazed. The thing is amazing in sound. I have been studying intensely music theory using the guitar for last six months or so, and I've been playing guitars in all price ranges at all the stores in town without finding something beeter. The sound on this one is so well balanced and smooth with unending projection. It is like something opened up in it in the last few months. I did find a Tacoma d9 that was just as smooth and balanced, but didn't have the money for it. My sister in law who teaches guitar, and runs a music shop with her husband was amazed herself when she recently played it. SURPRISE! She said she had seldom found an acoustic that played so easy and so well balanced. I'm not sure what I'll do if the plastic saddle breaks again. Save up and replace the bridge. Seems like that might change it and I don't want that. Anyway, good instrument. Cheap difficult to find saddle. I had to go directly to Fishman, and they sent me a couple for free.
