Buzz, Buzz, Buzz

If you've never played a sixer it will take getting used to. I read about fret buzz issues from other owners and I'm sorry to say I have the same issue...only in a couple of places. I don't care for battery powered pickups. My fingers hit the front pickup a little, which forces me to change my right hand positioning/technique slightly (can't lower PU anymore). The "basswood" body lacks density. Neck kind of feels like 4 string a BC Rich. Overall I'd say the bass and I will become good friends. A decent purchase considering the price.

This is my baby

I have owned one of these for a couple years...long before Guitar Center started selling Deans. I also own a Dean Rhapsody Q4. Dean makes the best basses on the market. One of the best features are the EMG-HZ active pickups. The sound is unbelievable. If I had to nitpick, I would say the only problem is that the strings are very close together making slapping a bit of a challenge. Word to your collective mothers.
