I purchased a Dean Edge left handed bass a few weeks ago and I love it. It arrived in a few days as promised by the guitar tech at Guitar Center. I have no complaints with this bass or the service at my local Guitar Center.
I don't know what the other guy is talking about, but my Dean Bass Guitar has lasted me well over 2 years and still going strong. I don't think he knows how to take care of his guitars. None of my strings broke and the only thing I need to do with my guitar is tune it every once and a while. Everyone should get this bass if you are a beginner. Enjoy
Don't listen to this man (or woman)!! You can buy replacement strings for it (the strings guitars come with always suck). You probably get what you pay for, but Dean always makes relatively good guitars for the price (my friend owns two). his is good if you're left handed and sick of playing right handed guitars. Don't put any more money into it though, till you can get a better one.
