Great Beginner's Package.

I bought this as a self taught(Using my Classical Guitar training), beginning bassist. For the price, it's a great package and well worth the money. The Guitar itself is nice: 21 frets, single pick-up and volume/tone knobs. The finish is good and the neck has a very smooth feel. The tuning heads stay in place and are easy to adjust. The Amp is quite decent with your basic controls, and gets modest sound and a lot of volume. The extra parts of the package probably won't get much use other than the cable and strap. The cable is very thin and with a more distorted tone a static-like sound comes from the amp it should probably get replaced. The strap isn't the best quality but it holds the guitar which is all it needs to do. The bag is very thin and I wouldn't carry the guitar in it without grabbing around it, but it works to keep dust off the Bass. The tuner's finicky but works fine, the picks are "mediums" and it also comes with adjustment pieces and instructions for fixing the neck(if necessary).

Great for a starter

The guitar is awesome, but the amp isn't too much to brag about, the strap is great. For the money, it is a complete steal if you are beginning then this pack is for you because it has your essentials and i LOVE it.

Ideal for beginners

This package was given to me for christmas last year. It has definately taught me alot about playing bass, I would recomend it to anyone that wants to get into playing bass. The amp is... well... it makes sound, the strap has never slipped or come loose on me, the tuner works great, the cord will last for about 3 months, and the bass itself is comfortable its fairly light and the tuners hold great. Overall its a great package and it will definately teach you everything you need to know about playing bass.

A STEAL!!!!!

Ok, first of all, the whole package is very good. The bass is very reliable and is nice for beginners. The amp isn't too bad either. Besides that, you might want to replace the gig bag cause its like paper, and you should think about getting and new strap because mine snapped when I had it on. Besides those two things, GO AND GET IT!!!!!!!

Great bass for beginners

I got this as my first bass and it's great. The bass itself is nice and plays well, the amp gets reasonable sound and nice tone, the gig bag isn't really thick but it's not as thin as some of the other gig bags out there, The cable is thin but is is fine and does what it is supossed to, the picks are well, picks the tuner/metronome is hard to figure out but once you do figure it out it is pretty good. All in All this is a great package at a great value.

Great Package at a Great Price

I picked up this package as my first Bass because it is reasonably priced and comes with everything you need to be able to play. After reading many of the comments about this package I was concerned about the condition the instrument would be in when it arrived but it arrived in perfect order so no woriies there. The bass is beautiful and unlike many I am pleased with how the amp sounds. The chord is a little thin but it does what it is supposed to do so I have no complaints there. The tuner is a little difficult to use but once you figure it out it becomes much easier. The gig bag is very thin and I use it primarily as a dust cover and there is nothing wrong with the strap. All in all I am very happy with this package and would recommend it to anyone who would like to pick up the bass.

no regrets!!

i been using my keyboard to simulate the bass for my homestudio, but just today I decided to get get me an actual bass, so boght the Dean E09 bundle, for the price this is an amazin deal, and the bass and accesories are just awesome... playability is very good and the amp has a very powerful and clear sound, so if you are a begginer or lookin for an affordable bass(and accesories) i really reccomend the Dean E09 pack.

First Bass. Love it.

I love the bass, eventhough I heard bad things about this brand. The strap is pretty good, it won't drop the bass, that's for sure. The amp is pretty good, definitely worth the price. The tuner is alright. I an online one that's pretty great, so I don't have to use this one. The gig is a little weak, but it's okay. It doesn't come with a stand, which you probably want, so that's an extra bit of money. Basically, if you are on a budget, this is definitely the best you can get.

As Promised

We ordered this bass for my daughter, who is just learning. This was the best price we found, and it came with virtually everything she needed to get started. We read all the reviews and that helped us decide to go with this model, and we're very happy with it. And it looks great!
