This Bass is really good for beginers! The amp is ok and the strap is decent. The bass itself is good for a person who is just learning on the bass. it also has a nice growl to it. buzzing is an issue though but its probly just me playing it wrong.
Bought this today and I've been having a blast with it. Great lil practice amp, strap seems sturdy. Good basic bass. It's a good beginners pack when you've got a low budget. Only con is the tuner is really out of wack, save yourself the time trouble and buy a new one.
The Dean Edge is probably the best for a beginners bass with affordability and functionality. With this combination of the bass itself and the Hal Leonard Bass Method series, you can become the next Cliff Burton or Lemmy Kilmister. The One Flaw is the amp that comes with it. It maybe good starting size, but it has a distorted tremble that can sound very staticy. But all-in-all, I would guarantee a recomendation to this great bass package.
