this thing is great. the set neck is amazing. ive always owned a bolt on so that was a cool feature for me. the pups are very high output and match dave's tone as long as your eq is set right. i had to turn the bass down by half for mine. its very lightweight id say nearly if not lighter then the vmnts. not being as heavy it sits a lil weird at first at a certain length depending on how low you play. true his is bigger then any explorer on the market but not by much. if you go to amazon or idk maybe gc has it, there is a coffin case for extreme body guitars that fits it perfectly. overall id say this thing competes with its older brother. a def must have for megadeth/metal/dean/explorer fans alike. my only problem with this guitar is its bridge. to adjust the height of it requires you to move a big gear like thing under the bridge where as most tune-o-matics will have a screw easy to get to. but that alone shouldnt be enough for you to not buy it, just a tip fyi
Great guitar for the money. Once I got the action just right the guitar sounds awesome. The pickups have a great heavy sound and the graphic of the picture is really cool. I recommend this guitar to anyone!
This Guitar has great heavy sound in mahogany body and two
humbucker pick-ups. and also great design (yeah you can see it!).
There's one thing you have to noticed, yet there's no case
fits for this guitar perfectly (Salesman recommanded Epiphone
Explorer hard case, but it wasn't fit so I had to fix it
little) anyway, It has worth to spend money!
