  • EFFIN AWESOME

As reviewed by Matt J on 1/3/2009

this is my first Dean and v shaped guitar, and I must say i was blown away. The quality and looks for the price can't be beat. The thin neck profile is great, the pickups are pretty decent, action is perfect, and the united abominations finish looks light-years better in person than on the sites. All i need to do now is throw in some Duncan Seymour live-wire Mustaine pickups and this killer machine is ready to cause some metal annihilation. EXTREMELY WORTH THE PRICE, BUY IT!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Awesome buy

As reviewed by Branden Wong on 1/14/2010

Well worth the money. The neck feels great, stays in tune for a long time, looks great. The only complaint I have is how muddy the pickups were. This being my first V, it's AWESOME. Great to sit and play with too (contrary to what many believe). You just need to own it for a little to know what position it's comfortable for you. 24 Frets = big plus (especially when upgrading to a 22 fret guitar after constantly having to bend and shred your finger skin apart to reach the 24th fret pitch). The moment I pick this guitar up, I feel guilty if I only play it for about 15 minutes. I highly recommend this to any starters who want a V. Great starter and will last years.

  • Great guitar

As reviewed by Trent on 7/13/2009

I was quite surprised when i first got this guitar. It plays really smooth with the thin, but wide neck feel. The pick-ups, although not the hottest i've ever played, give good harmonics response and are surprisingly really good for the price. There's only a few things i dont like about the guitar and those would be the input jack is loose and wires weren't connected very well. Great thing about this guitar is it seems like it will hold its tune forever. For the money, go grab it now its a great guitar for the price.
