The perfect tool for all the shredders of the world.

The Dean Custom Run #7 Stealth Electric Guitar has an outstandingly beautiful flame maple top. It comes loaded with a Seymour Duncan Dimebucker bridge pickup and a USA DMT DimeTime neck pickup for tones that cut through like the sharp razorblade inlay on the fretboard. The guitar's pointy stealth shaped mahogany body with a set neck give you the playability you need and the Floyd Rose 1000 tremolo will let divebomb from here to kingdom come. The "V" shaped neck with a super flat 16" radius fret makes this axe perfect for shredding and Grover tuners will keep you in tune. • A Real Beast!

As reviewed by Randy Dunman on 3/18/2013

This guitar is just plain awesome. I picked this up while waiting for my ESP LTD EC-1000 in silver sunburst to ship and I have to say that I haven't been disappointed in the least. If you love Pantera's music like I do, you won't be disappointed either. This guitar has lots of sustain for piercing leads and real heavy, tight, low end chunk. The guitar is a little on the heavy side for my taste but, I think it really helps the tone to have that extra weight. I did find a couple of minor cosmetic flaws in the finish but, for the price I'm not going to complain about it.

  • Far beyond my expectations!

As reviewed by Tyler O'Brien on 7/1/2013

I live about fifteen minutes away from Akron's Guitar Center, so I decided one day to go there, just to browse. Little did I know that this beast of a guitar was going to be there. I have a USA Razorback V, so when I saw this Dean, and realized that it was the DCR Stealth (72nd out of 100), I freaked a little and played it for a good hour. The next day, I bought it, haha. Let me tell you, this is probably one of the best guitar I've ever played, and that's not out of bias at all. The mahogany V neck is extremely comfortable to play on: not too thick, but not too thin, either. Also, it's surprisingly light, which is great when you're standing up playing. The only thing I don't like (which isn't really a big deal) is that it's a little difficult to get to the 20-22nd frets on any string. On the bright side, the Floyd Rose 1000 on it is SLICK. Trust me, you won't go out of tune. Being a huge Dimebag, EVH, and KK Downing fan, I love divebombs and was a little skeptical of it getting knocked out of tune. You can go as crazy as you want to on the Stealth, and it won't even be slightly phased. The sustain both pickups have is awesome, coming from the Dimebucker (which has a great chunk and very high output) and the USA DimeTime pickup (which gives off a warm tone great for giving bends a distinct voice). This guitar is top-notch quality from Dean. If you can get your hands on either one of the finishes, do it. You'll be thanking me for reading this, and Dean Guitars for making such a a beautiful guitar!
