The Dean Custom 350 Electric Guitar has a Floyd Rose tremolo gracing its double-cutaway body. Constructed with a carved flamed maple top and a lightweight basswood back, the guitar boasts a 25½" scale length bolt-on maple neck. The 6-in-line headstock is emblazoned with a winged Dean logo.

The guitar's 24-fret rosewood fingerboard is decorated with pearl dots and a custom inlay at the 12th fret. High-output DMT humbucking pickups deliver a variety of rockin' tones and a push/pull coil-splitting tone control lets you perform all musical genres by letting you also capture single-coil pickup sounds. A Floyd Rose Special tremolo bridge and a locking nut gives you additional expressive finesse without fear of going out of tune.

  • Great Guitar At Any Price

As reviewed by Michael Wells on 3/8/2014

I have had this guitar for a little over a year now, so I feel confident in writing this review. First, the sound. The Custom 350F sounds great. The factory pickups are very good and the coil tap works well. Pickups are a very individual thing according to personal taste, but this is my third Dean and they have all had great pickups. This one has a DMT Nostalgia in the neck and a DMT Equalizer in the bridge. I really think that Dean makes the best factory pickups, much better than the factory one's from ESP, Ibanez or any other makers that aren't named Gibson. You can really get any tone you want; from metal, classic rock, jazz or blues. The coil tap transforms it to a very clean machine. I have played it thru both of my amps; a solid state Acoustic Lead Series and an old Marshall hybrid Valvestate with a 12AX7 preamp and it sounds great thru both. Second is the playability. The neck is a C-Shaped and it is nice and thin. The back is unfinished and very fast. Easy to shred on. The action is a little higher than on my Mustaine Zero AOD2, but not by much. Over all, very playable. Lastly is fit and finish. This is a very sexy guitar. I bought the transparent blue and the flame maple top just looks incredible. This guitar has the sound, playability and looks that would easily compete with guitars in a much higher price point. This is a great guitar for any style and any level of player. As always with any guitar with a Floyd Rose, be weary of the pain the Floyd Rose can be. The Floyd on this model works well, which was a surprise; but like all Floyd equipped guitars be ready for a pain changing strings or tunings. If you are going to change tunings, I would think about investing in an EVH DropD Tuna.

  • Dean Custom 350 Blue

As reviewed by Jdude on 1/28/2011

I picked this up on clearence. What a great guitar. The pickups pack some punch and they are crunchy. Its very responsive for stock pickups. The floyd special is great. Once I set it up it stays in tune through my whammy abuse. Great for whammy screams. The neck feels comfortable and fast. This price is low and the guitar could easily compete with $500+ guitars. I love it. The coil tap is another feature, I really don't use it, but it does work and you can hear the difference. The Blue finish is great looking. I see no problems with the paint or neck. The tuners are grover and they do their job just fine. Customer service was great too. GC did not give me a whammy bar, so I called dean guitars and they sent me one right away. So far I have no complaints. I can play hard rock metal or just shredd away.

  • dean c350 Trasn blue

As reviewed by JOHN DARLAND on 10/31/2012

This guitar is great all around. The pickups are some of the best in this price range. The neck is smooth and bluesey. The bridge pickup is hot. The neck is comfortable, not too chuncky not too thin. The floyd special stays in tune after divebombing and screams. I had to set mine up, so be prepared. When it arrived it was the worst setup I had ever seen. The screws for the tremelo springs were crooked. The setup did not take too long, so please do not get discouraged. You can always take it to a luthier. The coil tap works, maybe I will use it in the future, right now its not for me. The paint was flawless, trans blue is a nice color. The guitar has a nice tone, sounds good through my peavey vypyr and 6505. If your looking for a guitar with a floyd or just a good price this is it. It does not feel cheap in any way. thanks
