Ive been a long time user of both the Jazz III and Dava Control Picks. Both are extremly great picks. Dava with its rubber grip allows for even the fastest pickers to not lose their hold, but at the cost of its large size. While the jazz III Allowed for precise picking and accuracy, unfortunately, playing over prolonged periods of time you get sweaty hands; i would find myself constantly dropping my picks. With this new hybrid you get the best of both worlds its size allows for maximum accuracy and precise playing while maintaining your grip. A dream come true, the perfect pick for various styles especially all you metal players out there. This pick is truly genious buy it and i promise you wont stop playing.

A pack was given to me at a local music store, I will say I am a Dunlop Jazz iii Tortex player, those are my go to/ primary pick. I liked the design, feel and texture; comfortable In hand. Though, in the first 5-10 mins, I noticed the tip had started to shred and tear. Discounting the fact these aren't the gauge I use, maybe it is because I play heavy music. The picks are average, I'd pay the extra money any day for the Dunlop Jazz Tortex. One happened to be missing too haha but whatever, they were free. To each their own though,

Comments about Dava Jazz Grips Pick 6 Pack:

I love these picks. Have used the larger ones over the years and these are just as good except they're jazz sized picks. I love ALL the DAVA picks especially for practicing as I found they helped my technique immensely. Shipping was great as always and I thank you Musicians Friend

Comments about Dava Jazz Grips Pick 6 Pack:

I got one of these in my Premier Guitar Mystery Stocking along with a selection other Dava, Dunlop, Gravity, and Tusc picks. I keep coming back to this one. I'm not a jazz player, more of a gamut rock basher, but this small pick keeps calling to me. It just feels good. Great grip.

Been looking for the grip and the new Delrin construct gives me more control over my picking.

            Great picks!

Comments about Dava Jazz Grips Pick 6 Pack:

I used to use V Picks exclusively but I found I like these better as they give an even better grip and I can manipulate them in hand when I need to without worrying about slipping and dropping them. They produce a very "snappy" sound and the pick tip seems to grip the string a bit so there is quite a bit of articulation (but this doesn't slow down speedy runs-as if I was "speedy"!). The only downfall of the pick in my opinion is it is a lot more flexible than your standard heavy pick but I've gotten used to it easily. It is excellent not only for soloing but great for strumming as well! I'd say try 'em out!

Comments about Dava Jazz Grips Pick 6 Pack:

These picks are exactly the same size as the Dunlop jazz picks. It's a bit odd that people complain that they are small, when they are obviously supposed to be that size. I had trouble with the Dunlops slipping out of my hand, which meant that I was gripping the pick too hard to keep hold of it and tensing my whole arm. With the Davas, I can relax my grip with the pick still feeling secure in my hand, and it is easier to relax my whole arm. This really improves my technique and speed. The nylon ones are more flexible, and I am not at this point able to really say if the delrin or gel is harder. I don't notice any difference in tone, but I was more concerned about the ease of gripping, and getting the same size as the Dunlop jazz picks. Also, I can easily bend the other (non-pointy) end of the pick to curve it a little to the shape of my thumb. This also helps me feel more comfortable holding it.

Comments about Dava Jazz Grips Pick 6 Pack:

You should definitely get a 6 six pack of these. They don't slide of your hand as usual jazz III does but they are the same, it even has plastic on the sides for tapping. Check these picks out.

            Comfortable and Easy to hold

Comments about Dava Jazz Grips Pick 6 Pack:

I ordered these as an alternative to a jazz III style pick. I was seeking a better grip on a small pick. The grip on this pick is excellent. Comfortable and just the right anount of sticky. The rubberized surface covers about 2/3rds of the pick surface so you only get to use the bottom third for string contact.
I tend to favor a stiffer pick and the Dava has more flex than I prefer. I did like the attack of the material that comes in contact with the string.
If you are seeking a smaller pick with a positive, defined grip and a little flex, this is it.
