I got this pedal a short while ago. The Fab Echo is excellent. I play it through a Roland Jazz Chorus 120 with a vintage Chandler Tube Driver. The sound is amazing. Though there are only two adjustment knobs on the pedal it is very versatile and it can go from very subtle echo to a sound that could only be described as space age. The one flaw with the product and also the Fab pedal series in general is the weird way that you need to turn the knobs. This is due to the fact that they are on the side of the pedal instead of the top (see the picture). It isn?t a big deal but just something worth noting. The hard plastic casing is holding up well and the bright blue light that indicates when it is on is very easy to see. For $15 you cannot go wrong. Add this excellent pedal to your arsenal.

You get what you pay for

I wanted an inexpensive echo. It was very low cost. I guess if you're going to play Johnny Cash it's ok.
I'll by aTC Electronic Flashback and keep this on the shelf.

Great Pedal

By Daniel_ace

Comments about Danelectro Fab Echo Guitar Effects Pedal:

This little pedal is a monster for what it does. I bought it because I heard a musician at a bar playing some mean blues and I knew that was the sound I was looking for.It has a good slap echo sound like the one of Johnny cash's guitarist. It is very versitile in sound. You can get a good rockabilly, 50's twang and a very nice reggae effect.Definitely worth buuying.

Slap Back Perfection !

By Billy Stimpson

from Phoenix Arizona

Comments about Danelectro Fab Echo Guitar Effects Pedal:

If you are a fan of the old Sun Records recordings of the 50's & 60's (Elvis, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, Roy Orbison etc), you'll love the sound that comes out of the Dano FAB Echo pedal. This little red box does the slap back like no other. I plugged the FAB into a small class A tube amp, added a Tele & found that Rockabilly sound I was always looking for. If you want that old school tape delay sound, then you really need to pick up the Danelectro FAB Echo pedal. A great echo machine at a great price.. Get one now !

The Best Slap

By Mike

from Arizona

Comments about Danelectro Fab Echo Guitar Effects Pedal:

The Best Slap Pedal of them all, I use one of these and a Boss DD3. The Dano is the best and the most authentic SLAP BACK there is. It won't last forever at least mine didn't one night it got stuck doing the coolest echo loop in perfect time to what we were playing and after I turned it off it died. And I bought another imediately. Actually very versatile.

Dano Strikes Again!

By mmukav

from Chardon, Ohio

Comments about Danelectro Fab Echo Guitar Effects Pedal:

Danelectro's Fab Echo is just the ticket if you're looking for a really good sounding, inexpensive, easy to use pedal. I was blown away by the sound of this unit! The price is unreal, and although the body is plastic, it's well made, sturdy, and has held up well for me. It has an easy-to-see blue light when the pedal is activated, and the controls are simple. It doesn't have a lot of range of adjustments, but if you're looking to add that Rockabilly twang to your sound, this pedal delivers!

Diamond in the rough.

By DaYooper

Comments about Danelectro Fab Echo Guitar Effects Pedal:

If you had told me six months ago that you could get a great sounding echo pedal at such a low price, I would have laughed at you. That is until I discovered this litte gem. The Fab echo gives you a sound and versatility you would expect from a pedal that costs much more. The whole FAB line is great. I play this through my Les Paul with a marshal 35w amp and it sounds great. Don't let the price fool you.

Its ok.....

By Lithium

from Undisclosed

Comments about Danelectro Fab Echo Guitar Effects Pedal:

I hated this pedal. The footswitch is made of plastic, and snapped right off. The entire unit is made of strong plastic however. The effects it had were a bit muddy. I would only reccomend this pedal to someone whos beggining to use pedals, or is really low on cash.

cool pedal!

By ibanezboy

Comments about Danelectro Fab Echo Guitar Effects Pedal:

This pedal is really cool! Once I heard what it sounded like, I thought I was in a stadium! Basically, this is a reverb pedal that sounds really good and it won't cost you a lot of money. I've been looking for a pedal like this that's very cheap in price, but not cheap in quality and I've found it!

Comments about Danelectro Fab Echo Guitar Effects Pedal:

I use this for playing my style of music. I play a lot of traditional country and some of the hillbilly music I play also includes rockabilly playing. You need the slap back for authenticity in the sound. This is real simple and affordable. Nice bright blue pilot light. This is a great pedal for that SUN RECORDS sound nd it does a great job providing that sound. Yes it is a slap back and does not change your tone it just gives you the right stuff for raockabilly so for this style of music you will love this pedal and especially if you are on a tight musician budget. Workds great with my 9 volt daisy chain and power supply setup from SNARK.

Nice sounding box at a great price !

Comments about Danelectro Fab Echo Guitar Effects Pedal:

The Fab Echo works well for me, I use it as a reverb unit running into a Jamman Looper. It seemed to consume my battery fairly fast so now it's on a AC supply. The LED is blue and it's laser beam bright. I wanted the chords to run out the back, but would rather the knobs angled up rather than rearward.
