I bought this pedal not to long ago and beleive it or not, the manager of the store saw me testing a shcecter with a Metal distortion petal from boss. He came up to me and said asked what kind of music I was in to. I said i was into Jazz, Metal, rock, punk, emo, you know...pretty much anything, and he said that he thinks he knows a pedal that would suit me. So he handed me this foot pedal and says it is only 15 bucks! So i couldnt compete with that so i bought it, not knowing what to expect. I got home, plugged it in....and i laughed so hard! This little thing can make the most weirdest noises but they are without a doubt one of the most unique sounds I have ever heard! I can play alot of songs with it! So if you have about 20 bucks to blow, just go to guitar center, buy it, go home and enjoy this little creature! I love it!

This pedal is pretty fun to play around with and has some interesting sounds. It isnt very rugged but it is plastic after all. To me it is worth the change but I wouldnt keep it on my pedal board. It is really just a gimic. It is a bit loud. It has a humm but if you have a noise gate it should be cool. With that said it is worth the money. You cant go wrong with the price.

I just received my New Danelectro Fab Chorus in the mail today. Love it, I highly recommend this chorus for anyone looking to buy one. You won't be disappointed. The plastic shell is very heavy duty, at first I thought it was metal not plastic. It has a nice warm sound. I'm glad I read the reviews, that it what convinced me to take chance and buy it. I hope this review helps convince someone else
I use a few of the Danelectro pedals when playing Bass Guitar & Guitar in my contemporary church band. We run everything, Electronic Drums, Keyboards, Guitars, Bass, Horns, & Vocals directly into a large mixer board. These pedals give me the ability to vary my sound according to the songs being done and gives the sound an extra texture IE: Chorus, Echo, Flange, & Octave. I have also ordered the Danelecto 5 plug Daisy Chain Power Connector so that I don't have to worry about batteries not working when needed. With my tuner I only needed 5 plugs and that will be perfect for me. If I needed more effects than these I would get a multi- effects pedal but you can't beat the price and the pedals are holding up great. I also play in a Duo, "Guitar, Bass, & Drum Machine" where we run everything thru a Bose system with 2 sub woofers and the pedals sound great with that set up too.
Order mine on Tuesday , had it by Friday. Sounds great . And what a deal,,,,, I Hadn't played in years . But I picked up a cheep little electric to have some fun. Picked up this and one of their distortion pedals. for the price you can't go wrong . In fact you should buy one for a friend too
I use a Fab Chorus in my pedal setup because it sounds so good, and for a fraction of the price of my ex-Boss chorus. It is plastic, and isn't as sturdy as pricier pedals, but for the price, what do you expect? Be prepared to tape the battery cover - the cheap plastic screw strips out. Buy the Pro Coverage in case it goes out on you. It isn't high-tech circuitry. For beginners, the Fab pedals are a good way to get good sound without breaking the bank. In my case, I have been playing in bands off and on for decades, and I like this chorus better than some pricey ones. I set the depth up and the speed down for one of my lead sounds. It also sounds great with clean playing. Fantastic on "2000 Miles" by The Pretenders. If you need pro pedals, this isn't it, but it will suit a lot of players.
I'm giving 4 of 5 only because it's very new and I don't know Chorus Pedals well enough to be a critic. What I can say is that it's easy to configure and comprehend. Gives you a rich mellow tone and makes all of your playing sound richer. It is switched on both by having the line "in" in place and then with the foot switch which illuminates a noticeable blue LED. So far I'm real happy with it and for the cost it allowed me the luxury of MUCH better tone that my amp alone could deliver. Has me thinking about that Echo now!!
I realy was impressed.I used it in front of my boss phaser and a boss digital delay and with a little tweacking got a great Joe Walsh vibe! My girl came in the room and said it sounded like Joes song the confessor.I have a lot of pricey effects and now wonder why I never got into Danelectro FAB pedals before now! I am shure to be buy more of them.I think the flanger will be next on my list. You can"t beat the sound for the price,I am a new fan!
i play for my church and i got some FAB pedals in the past before, so i knew what to expect. what you should expect is excellence and nothing less. every time the FAB pedals deliver the expectations. i love it, as well as the other FAB pedals i have.
this little guy can add some nice sparkle and shimmer to your tone. not so lush, not very warm, but what do you expect? it does what it says. if you have any intelligence, you'll know not to stomp on it, cause its all plastic save the back plate. if you're an oaf, don't get it. nice bright led! i'm not concerned about battery life, cause i use a one spot power source. switch works ok. altough impossible to see without craning over, the controls are out of the way, which i like. the placement of the jacks is a little awkward, but whatever. small, stylish, cheap, sounds like a chorus pedal, buy it!
I play in a praise and worship band for a small to medium assembly. The Danelectro Fab Chorus effect pedal is perfect for this setup. The speed and depth of the chorus effect is easily adjusted and produces the right sound for a ryhthym guitar. The design of the pedal makes it easy to turn on and off, however, the Danelectro Fab Chorus isn't designed to be a "stomp" pedal. It's great for the money and I would recommend anyone to add this pedal to their arsenal on stage.
I bought this pedal after having a good experience with the Danelectro FAB Metal pedal. It gives me that nice sound on clean and gives that extra "oomph" with distortion. When it's set up right, it gives some really good sounds.
