  • Works fine, but . .

    This tuner works well enough, but Danelectro DJ25 isn't backlit when you use a battery. Unless you use a power adapter, this is very hard to read unless you're right on top of the pedal. I have plenty of Dano pedals I use ergularly, but this isn't one of them. There are better options out there.

  • Stay Away

    I've been playing guitar since 1965. Back in the day we had to tune by ear, and electronic tuners seemed such a luxury. I recently bought this one for my nephew because it seemed reasonably priced and looked cool. Unfortunately...this is the worst guitar accesory I've ever wasted money on. I have to be a foot or two away from it to read the display, even with my glasses, desk lamps, adaptors for power supply, etc. It gets a different frequency readout from my Boss and Fender tuners. I like Danelectro stuff, but it seems irresponsible and insulting for Dan-O to foist this kind of garbage upon aspiring musicians. Ugh.

  • OK tuner for the money

    It works, but as the other reviews stated, it's not that great when LCD backlight isn't on. I forgot the power adapter home before a gig and had a really hard time seeing the display. If you'll be using the tuner on stage, save yourself the frustration and spend a little extra for a Boss.
