This is fine for what it does. I noticed that the pedal's non-true bypass circuitry can get in the way a bit. It does take a bit of the treble out of the tone, but it's very slight. The slight treble loss might be a boon to fans of older analog echo, though. When engaging the pedal, it starts with a slower setting. This means you'll have to tap the left switch to get the pedal to put out faster delays. It is possible to press both switches at once, especially if you're large footed. Users will also have to experiment between slow and fast settings just to make this easier to use at a live show. The switches on this pedal are fairly well built for my needs. I know that this isn't the most robust piece, so I've adjusted accordingly. Hard stompers who can't adjust will want something else. Still, I've had fun with this pedal. It's awesome to mess with this using tons of distortion, and there's a way to make the pedal go on forever, but that's up to you to figure that out! I can get a nice reverb-like sound out of this, and that's become my primary use for the pedal. I can get some Edge-like delays with a little work.
I bought one of these several years ago,and the thing always screwed up every I took it to a job ! I know what all of you that read this think....why buy such a cheap pedal if you play out ? Good question. I guess I just over estimated Danelectro products. The main thing is,I would advise anyone who wants a decent delay pedal to buy a Boss,or DOD,which is what I had on hand for 20 years, and now have started using again ! Bottom line...."please don't buy this product !!!
