Simple and sweet
I have owned the Danelectro Pepperoni Phaser for 4 years now, and I love it. It is very simple, with just one knob for setting the speed, but it is sweet. I use this effect all the time, especially for lead stuff. It sounds great on clean tone and with distortion. At such a low price, adding this pedal to your collection is almost a requirement.

Don't waste your money
This pedal isn't worth the $30 it costs, to be honest. This was one of my first effects for electric guitar - it was so cheap, and I was so young... The phase hiccups - it doesn't sweep smoothly, but rather has a weird speedup during the high part of the phase. The button broke on me. There is no shielding on the pedal, so it tends to pick up radio interference. The plugs are pieces of junk. The knob fell off after a month. It is INCREDIBLY degrading to the guitar signal - testing with and without this pedal in my chain, even with it off, caused SIGNIFICANT differences. Don't buy this pedal - save a little more and put your money into a quality effect.
