  • Best deal on an overdrive

    Well Iv been on the market for a overdrive for awhile, I bought an OCD but wasn't impressed with it for the price and returned it. Well I stumbled upon the FAB Overdrive used at guitar center. It has the exact overdrive I'm looking for, not gainy at all, just the right amount of crunch and very warm. Only thing that's cheap about this pedal is its plastic but if you aren't ridicules and literately stomp on this thing you'll be good to go. I love this pedal, I haven't stopped playing with it since I bought it. This is worth every penny, try one of these before spending $140 on the popular OCD or the tube screamer. I recommend this for Blues. Grunge, Punk, Rock, definitely not for Metal or anything heavy like that, just keep that in mind.

  • Great for the Money

    Ok, maybe this dosn't sound like a vintage Tube Screamer. But do you really expert a pedal under $20 to perform like high end gear? This is the perfect overdrive pedal to get you started. You could beat the features on this pedal, but you're gonna have to pay 2-3 times as much as what this will put you out. I liked the overdriven sound this pedal puts out so much, I went out and bought by first tube amp. I still use this once and awhile to give lead lines a little more boost. If you're just starting to play, buy a few of these Dano pedals to play around with. They may not be the last pedals you ever buy, but they'll help you figure out what tone is "just right" for you.

  • can't beat it

    This is a great pedal, for the price you cant beat it. I was very surprised the such a cheap pedal had such great tone. I works very well to play it through a clean amp or you can use it to give a little boost to an already distorted amp. it is not quite as versatile as I would have liked, but its worth double the money. I would recommend this pedal to anyone who wants to get a great overdrive sound without having to spend alot of money
