The Cool Cat Transparent Overdrive from Danelectro gives you a metal stomp box for the price of a plastic one. If you're finicky about tone, the Cool Cat will have you purring.
Well all know Danelectro is known for plasic pedals that sound ok. Well here is where they steped it up. It is a nice heavey metal case, pedal jacks and true bypass. The controls can be a bit confusing as there stacked on the back of teh pedal. here is a hint, turn the bottom first then the top. On to sound quaility. We all spend lots of money on our guitars and amps. the number 1 reason we like they way they sound together and most overdrive and distortions can change that sound a bit. not this pedal. it stays true to your amp your guitar and your playing techniques at any level. It has tons of volume so you can use it as a booster. and the gain level is very divers, It won't do metal but they have a pedal for that, But it will go from cleam boost to mild overdrive to some good classic rock. and even at the highest gain setting you still here your guitar's great sound out of it.
