  • Good Tremolo

As reviewed by Ct on 7/21/2010

This pedal functions nicely. The rate of pedal effect has a nice range to it as well as the depth of the effect. Overall, a nice pedal (and it accepts 9V power supply, daisy chain it up!) However, the stomp switch is hard to latch at times due to the angle of the case (the case has an approximate 5 deg slope) and the size of the switch; it's a reliable switch (can't imagine it breaking) but takes some precision to engage. -0.5 STARS. Another flaw is the top load 1/4" jacks, if you are used to it, fine, but when it comes to chaining this pedal up, it can get difficult forcing a "U"-shaped pedal into a packed and gridded pedal board. And don't expect to use right angle cables with this pedal easily, you have to do some Houdini bending tricks to make sure the connections do not impede the knobs at the top. -0.511111 STARS, overall 4 STARS.

  • Cool Cat Tremolo is Definately COOL

As reviewed by Jim Cox on 4/22/2009

I bought this with a gift card for Christmas, it was the one pedal I didn't own. After having the FAB series of Dano products ( I swear by the chorus ) he solid click of the push button takes some getting used to; It's a more solid unit and a more solid feel than the Dunlop/MXR stuff, and will probably hold up better too. It sounds KILLER, it's easy to use. I think the LED is too bright, because you can't always read the labels when it's on. I would recommend this to anyone that needs a 'different' mellow sound. Warning: Put it AFTER the delay in your signal chain. If you use a POD type multi FX, use an outboard delay before the tremolo. ( Real analog sounds better anyway ) - Coxster

  • Nice, but.........

As reviewed by Dave on 4/18/2011

This unit works very nicely, but as for giving you the sound of an old Gison combo amp Tremelo. Not quite, It has nice adjustablilty and a good range of tremelo. Add in some reverb and you pretty much have the old sound.
