  • cool packaging & idea, uncool product....

    I bought these to go in the FAB Echo pedal & the Honeytone amp. (FYI, it turned out the amp came with a 9v battery included..) I first tried the pedal with one of these batteries; no go. Fortunately I also bought the AC adapter. That was a bit shaky as well, so I began to doubt the worth of the pedal. Later I got it to work on battery power alone. The very next day I tried the pedal again on just battery power: no dice. I put the pedal battery into the amp: the battery was dead. It worked one time for one day. So far I haven't had trouble with the battery that came with the Honeytone but just to save myself some hassle & extra cash I bought a second AC adapter & run both things off the plugs.
