The Daisy Rock Wildwood Short Scale Acoustic guitar is designed specifically for girls and makes an excellent "1st" guitar. The short scale-set mahogany neck has a comfortable, slender profile that makes the most challenging notes and chords easy to reach, and the Florentine cutaway body gives complete access to the rosewood fretboard. The Wildwood features a spruce top with maple back and sides and custom Daisy logo chrome tuners. The Wildwood has a cool vibe and a great sound that will inspire musicians at any skill level.

    I bought this guitar for my daughter thinking it was a quality guitar. At the store they told me it was a quality American made guitar and when I received it.. funny.. It is a crappy plastic china made guitar. You can get the same quality guitar at you local walmart or target. This is not a good first guitar for the price! Don't throw away your money on this guitar for your kid. Buy something cheaper and get them something better later. I have many guitars and have been playing about 30 years and this is the worst guitar I have ever played!!!! Not worth the money!!

    I just got this for my niece for Christmas. I played it first, to see what it sounded like, and what a surprise. The action is amazing. It stays in tune all over the neck, and has a great sound for such a small guitar. Very easy to play and a great first instrument for kid who wantss to learn. Very impressive.
