Behold the mighty staff of Isis.

Isis was the ancient Egyptian goddess of nature and magic including the powers of protection and healing. The Stardust Elite Isis is your magical staff that will let you cast your own spells with its mahogany body with pearloid top and white ice finish. The mahogany neck has a rosewood fretboard adorned with mystical vines and butterflys inlays. The 24-3/4" scale length makes it easier bend notes for wild incantations. Two Daisy Rock high-output humbuckers can be converted to single-coil output using the tone control's push/pull switch. Appointments include chrome hardware and abalone body binding.

  • This guitar is an art piece . . .

As reviewed by Shar on 9/1/2010

As the the 1st reviewer mentioned the pics of this guitar do NOT pay it justice. It is a beautiful piece of Mother of Pearl type celluloid and then it is edged in Abalone, there is mother of pearl inlay on the neck. The weight and the size of this guitar is what made me buy it, it works very well for a shorty like me (5'3") who has a a very bad back. When you have non tall arms and you can't hang w/ a lot of weight on your front side then this guitar is for you. Now to sound, I use it with a baby white Vox ::: hey a girl has to be color coordinated ;-} !! Anyway, I can make my dogs fall asleep to a lullaby or I can push a howl out of all of us. I love this- now to find a case that color coordinates, too. No I'm not L Woods. Give this guitar a try you won't be unhappy & it's not just for chicks. . .

  • Not For Ladies Only

As reviewed by StratCat72 on 4/25/2010

I am a male who owns 30 guitars of various makes and models, including some unusual examples. As a collector, I was intrigued at the Daisy Rock Isis' incredible looks. First of all, the pictures do not do this guitar justice and it must be seen to be believed. The ice pearloid finish, iridescent binding around the body AND headstock and vine inlay are features that are found on guitars costing far more than the Daisy Rock. The look is enhanced by the totally chrome hardware. In fact, this model is similar in appearance and design to some PRS units, and thus it is not overly feminine despite the name on the headstock. Although these features are more Taylor Swift than Ritchie Blackmore, the Isis is a beautiful guitar, and even as a male I had no trouble purchasing it for my own use. / The Daisy Rock Isis plays as good as it looks. Although Daisy Rock guitars are meant for girls, some of the characteristics that make them more suitable for the fairer sex provide advantages that all marques should take into consideration. The narrow neck and light weight are just a couple of examples. The set neck is very sturdy, and this guitar has some of the most tremendous sustain in my collection. Only the discontinued Vibracell has that kind of sustain. The pick-ups are strong and have a crunchy bite on a clean setting (I used a little Vox AD15VT-XL amp)and this guitar positively HOWLS with some added distortion. The notes have a nice harmonic, particularly on the neck pick-up. The tone pot provides an even browner sound without making the tone muddy--just more bluesy! This guitar is GREAT for blues playing, and notes ring out forever. / The guitar comes already set up and ready to play. It has the lowest action without buzz that I have seen. The small neck is extremely comfortable, even for big man hands like my own. The sound and playability--in addition to the stunning looks--have already made this guitar one of my very favorites!

  • Does not disapoint.

As reviewed by Violet on 11/12/2010

I am a average size girl, and I wanted to try another daisy rock guitar after purchasing an acoustic/electric from them. I have an ibanez electric that I love but I think it will be resting for a white because this Stardust Elite is so light weight! It is also has a very thin body! It is very comfortable to stand and play. It is also extremely beautiful like a winter storm, and I am very happy with the way it sounds. Of course it came perfectly in tune and the strings are so soft on your fingertips. In short: I'm in love. Thanks again Daisy Rock! Also the pictures here, do it NO justice.
