    Comments about DW 9500TB 2-Leg Hi-Hat Stand:

My DW 5000 high hat stand has been faithful and still is. This is a great upgrade and allows me to keep a kit setup in the studio. It is the Bentley of stands and heavy.

        Comments about DW 9500TB 2-Leg Hi-Hat Stand:

This is my first 2 leg HH stand (using double pedals) and I am trying to get used to it - at first it was a little wobbly but after messing with it got better - I will try my old 3 leg stand to see if I can fit double bass pedals with it - 3 legs just are better IMHO! don't get me wrong this DW stand it built like a brick ---- but it is still 2 legs - guess I am just use to 3 legs and stable - I will give it a try - 3 stars because I am still out on it!

Don't think about it, just buy it!

        Comments about DW 9500TB 2-Leg Hi-Hat Stand:

Typical DW quality. Smooth as silk. Solid as a rock. I was worried initially about the two-legged stand not being stable enough, but that wasn't the case at all. Very sturdy. I was also concerned about some comments related to the tightness of the top cymbal and there being too much play---that wasn't an issue either. It's a bit on the pricey side, like all of DW equipment, but sometimes you get for what you pay. This hi-hat stand will last a very, very long time. Most importantly, if you're using a slave kick pedal, moving from the two-legged hi-hat stand to the slave kick pedal is effortless. My 14" Zildjians even sound better than they did on my old TAMA stand, which I always thought sounded fantastic, especially when I'm playing in jazz groups. The stand is a bit heavy, but it is quality material.

        2 Legs? Ingenious!

        By Kent Bailey

        from Tampa, FL

        Comments about DW 9500TB 2-Leg Hi-Hat Stand:

For years I've been using a 3-legged stand made by Pearl. It's been a solid and dependable workhorse, but it's always been difficult to get the Hi-Hat close enough to me because the left side of my double bass pedal gets in the way of the hi-hat stand legs. The DW 2-legged stand totally eliminates this problem. I can put the DW hi hat pedal flush up against the left bass drum pedal with no stand legs to get in the way. Amazing, how this has simplified my foot work in transferring between the two, and allowed me to make my set up more compact. Even if you don't use a double bass pedal, having less stand legs to get in the way of your setup is a plus. Also, the pedal feel of the new DW blows away my old Pearl stand. I'm not sure exactly how it works (cam shape, chains, etc.) but it feels buttery smooth and very sensitive. If it hasn't made me a better hi-hat player it has at least made it a lot more fun to play on the hi-hats. There may be cheaper stands out there, but I've never played a better one.

        Comments about DW 9500TB 2-Leg Hi-Hat Stand:

The BEST performing high hat stand I have ever stepped foot on. Great reaction. Can do more with 20% the effort on this stand, than I can using 100% effort on any other HH stand. By far, the best investment you will ever make.

I just got this stand about a month ago...and it is amazing. there is no lag between the time you step down and when the hats close...it is also extremely smooth. although it is a little expensive it lives up to the dw standard of high quality. so if you are thinking about getting this and are only being stopped by the price...dont be you wont regret it!

        Comments about DW 9500TB 2-Leg Hi-Hat Stand:

Try this HH stand and you'll be speechless in about 2.3 minutes. Effortless, smooth, firm, comfy, and AMAZING are just a few words to describe this stand. The hat just floats so gracefully...it seriously made my xs20 hats sound way better. I dont know why or how but it did. Try it, then buy it...
