As reviewed by JG on 4/13/2010

This throne is rock solid and comfortable. The fourth leg can be troublesome. The top DOES come off. Maybe the earlier models didn't but mine does. It swivels smoothly, which I like. It's VERY heavy and I keep it in the studio now. If you tote your own gear this is not the throne for you. If you want a solid steady air lift throne in the studio this is for you.

As reviewed by Ken F. on 12/28/2010

I have had this throne for about 6 months now, and I love it. It is super comfortable. This throne is not cheap or lightweight in any way. It is heavy duty, and for bigger guys. If you have the money get it, it will be the last throne you will buy. The only thing is, it is meant for studio use, but you can tour with too, but it is not very portable. It is HEAVY, but you feel like a King when you are behind your kit sitting on this throne. I like the freeing feeling, and it is super adjustable. It goes really high, and super low from the touch of a lever! Fantastic product. The one thing drummers overlook is the throne, and being comfortable when playing. DW made this product for comfortability, so you should try it out.
