This DW Bass Drum Riser raises smaller bass drums off the ground for optimal bass drum pedal and beater alignment. It will hold any drum from a 20" bass drum to a 14" tom. Holds odd shaped drums, such as djembes or congas as well. It easily folds down into a compact size, and its memory locks allow quick setup.
DW Drums Collector's Series Warranty:
Drum Workshop, Inc. guarantees that DW Collector's Series® Drums are free of material and workmanship defects for a period of six (6) years from the original purchase date. Drum Workshop will repair or replace defective products free of charge to the original purchaser upon delivery of the product to an authorized DW Drums dealer. Proof of purchase and status as the original purchaser are required for warranty coverage. DW's maximum liability pursuant to this warranty is limted to the monetary value of the product that is the subject of the warranty claim. DW Pedals and Hardware Warranty:
For a period of five years from the date of purchase, Drum Workshop, Inc. guarantees the original owner, when presented with proof of purchase, that all 9000, 5000 and 7000 Series Bass Drum Pedal cast parts are free of material and manufacturing defects. This warranty is limited to cast parts only; such as the base casting, footboard, beater hub, sprocket, heel and cam casting. This warranty does not include moving parts; such as the spring assembly, beater ball, radius rod, hex shaft, ball bearings, etc. If under normal playing conditions parts covered in this limited five year warranty fail, they will be replaced at no charge. Return the pedal to your authorized DW dealer or, if there is not a dealer in your area, contact DW direct. DO NOT send pedal to DW without first receiving a Return Authorization Number. Shipping charges to DW will be paid by the consumer. DW's maximum liability pursuant to this warranty is limited to the monetary value of the product that is the subject of the warranty claim. This is absolutely the best built bass drum/drum riser out there. I love it becuase it cradles the drum perfectly allowing it to resonate and bring out the tones. It is very adjustable as I have played floor toms, djembes, toms and other fun toys on this riser. It comes with 2 different size legs that allow you to adjust to odd sized items like the djembe. I will say that it is heavier than the other risers, it is more expensive and it is probably one of the hardest to setup. These are not bad qualities for everyone...they dont bother me because I like to take time setting up and making sure my drums are put together the right way. I also really like the stand because it allows for you to adjust the height to maximize to head contact with the beater. I would encourage you to buy this item as it is a great investment for both sound and protecting your drums from falling/floor contact.
I bought this Bass Drum Riser a couple months ago for my 16x14 floor tom. Though it took me some time to get it adjusted for the floor tom I haven't had any problems with it. It stays in place and doesn't move around. It's the quality you would expect from DW. Well worth the price.
