It's DW!
This stand is really a dream come true for a drummer. It combines all things that I like as a drummer and I think that I'm fairly moderate in my opinions. We all know that DW makes some of the best hardware out there. So with the best you get high prices. BUT this stand offers high quality with a bit of savings. This stand is like having a boom for a ride and a straight stand for a crash (on the right side of the kit) all in one space saving package. And the price is less than that of buying those stands seperately (a DW 9000 series boom and straight would run over $100). SO this is space-saving, money-saving, and is of top-quality! What more can a drummer want out of a stand??

Gain Space / Lose Options
I have two of these stands. And though I didn't look into them enough prior to purchasing them I am still greatly pleased. My biggest complaint is the fact that all your cymbals you put on this stand have to be in a lateral direction. So although you can hold several cymbals, they all must be relatively in line. This stand does not give you the freedom is what two unique boom arms would give you.
Also, the black pieces you turn to tighten and loosen the arms, I broke two or three of these in a matter of a month of gigging though the rest have held up fine now, even after a year of gigging. But if you're like me, you find a place where everything is perfect and you don't have to move anythign after that. So those pieces being broken is far from a big deal. If I need to readjust an arm, I had saved a black piece and I can manually tighten and loosen the arm with it in a similar manner of using an allen wrench.
Other than those two things, I am very pleased with these stands. They have treated me well, and I am comfortable with my set up with them. Very heavy duty, and I never worry about them moving on me during a show. Well worth the price, I think.

This Is Awesome!
This cymbal stand will solve your spacing problems and this is one of the best cymbal stands out there. There is only one bad thing about this cymbal stand and that is the Techlock will slip out of place if you don't tightend it and their is unlimited possibilitys with this stand and if you want something that will give you heavy duty hardware without heavy duty prices, i suggest that you check this out.

Great Idea and Product
The DW 9702 Heavy Duty Multi Cymbal Stand is quite an invention. This stand is very flexible and has a lot of different adjustments, yet still manages to be one of the heaviest duty cymbal stands I've ever used. I mounted a 16" crash cymbal and an 18" China cymbal on it. It's holding up fine and never comes unadjusted. The best feature is the Techlock which allows for effortless adjustments. Another upside is that you can hold two different cymbals while using the floor-space of one stand.
