An updated pedal from DW offering multiple patented designs, epic flexibility and an incredibly smooth feel.

The flagship of the DW pedal line-up, the DW 9000 Single Pedal features multiple patented innovations such as a free-floating rotor-drive system, rotating swivel spring and infinitely adjustable cam allowing a more direct transfer of energy that optimizes the stroke for more power and precision. The speed and fluidity of the 9000 series pedals is due to a multi-bearing system that reduces friction and improves feel.

The Infinite Adjustable Cam featured on DW 9000 Series Pedals allows the pedal to be easily set from Accelerator to Turbo Drive or anywhere in between. A patented Floating Swivel Spring system increases efficiency on the down stroke and return stroke, while a state-of-the-art Ball Bearing Hinge design delivers fluid footboard action. The pedal is chain-driven, but to cater to preferences, 9000 Series Bass Drum Pedals also include a Nylon Strap for easy conversion.

A Dual Adjustable Toe Clamp ensures the pedal and drum stay connected to any kick drum hoop. DW machines its Precision Universal assemblies in-house from aircraft-grade aluminum to meet strict tolerances. All 9000 pedals come with a convenient Clip & Drum Key.

The result is a pedal with smooth, effortless action.

9000 Single Pedals come with an easy-travel, soft Nylon Bag.

  • Smooth, solid, dependable

As reviewed by Scot on 11/4/2014

I'm new to drums, so take this with a grain of salt. But, I read a variety of reviews and looked at what top-notch players are using. I can afford to buy premium equipment the first time. The DW9000 pedals are adjustable in every conceivable way. Cam eccentricity, pedal height, beater rotation, spring tension. The smoothness from all the nylon and ball bearings is nice. The 9000 series is very solid and doesn't move at all when attached to my mesh kick drum trigger (on carpet). It has a chain drive but isn't sprocket driven so it's easy to change to a strap if you prefer that. Like I said, I'm new to drums so I don't have a lot of experience with other pedals, but I really like this one. DW has an excellent reputation and a lot of serious players use them.

  • DW Delivers - Surprised - You Shouldn't Be - Roland KT-10 or DW Single with Trigger ?

As reviewed by Jeff on 8/11/2014

DW Delivers - Surprised - You Shouldn't Be Excellent product. I use two of them next to my DW 9002 double pedal. The price may scare you away. However, drums are relatively inexpensive. Its the hardware that drives up the cost. Personally, I will purchase a lessor kit and better hardware. I reached this conclusion after reviewing you tube videos at home for days. The drum set was born out of the bass drum pedal. This was a new fact to me. I need speed, accuracy, dependability. The is not an ordered list. There is no doubt in my mind I can take my pedals to any gig and use them. The DW 9000 single pedal, and my DW 9002 pedals have never failed me. I purchased two new Roland KT-10 pedals to use with my electric kit. I intended on putting KT-10's next to my DW 9002 pedals. After playing double KT-10's and the DW 9000 single pedals with decent triggers, my verdict is the DW 9000 single pedal and trigger. The input in assisting me with making this decision works out of a Plano Guitar Center. Guitar Center has never let me down. My appreciation goes out to Austin who works in the guitar section of the Plano TX store. Hands Down Victory for DW. -------------- Criticism Nothing is perfect, including DW hardware. I would like them to product some pedals with a smaller form factor to enable them to be placed side by side. On your main double pedal its hard to juxtaposition the pedals. This is not a design flaw, but I would like DW to use their "braniac" power to create a double pedal that is recessed to allow the pedals to be placed closer together. Cheers Jeff D
