Great Quality Pedal

I have had the DW 5002TD3 Turbo Chain-Drive Double Pedal for about a year. Although I do not play metal or hard rock, which is primarily where double pedals are used, I have been using it a lot to spice of normal rock and funk beats. Playing triplets with this pedal is easy, yet rewarding. Playing strait sixteenth notes in a solo also sounds awesome. Because this is DW product, it is very high quality and will last a long time. The beaters are one the many cool features on this double pedal. The white felt beater (for jazz) and the black rubber beater (for rock) can be switched around in a matter of seconds. It also comes with a hard plastic carrying case that latches shut. This is a very solid pedal that is a great value.

Most Durable Pedals Around

I bought these pedals six months ago, and they are just awesome. I have never had any better double bass pedals. You can make them do chops faster than lightning. They are great quality. The Pedals never wear down. They are definetely worth the money. They are very ajustable. So what are you waiting for. No other pedal company is better than DW. Perfect for your metal needs. The DW 5000's are fantastic.

Worth the money!

an absoutely amazing double bass pedal. i'm not into metal, but it adds a whole other level of dynamic when you start incorporating triplets into your regular beat. i absoluetly love this pedal. triplets flow, and are smooth like butter. DEFINENTLY WORTH YOUR MONEY!

Versitle

The Pedal is very heavy hitting! I have blown resonant heads with the 5000. If you have good leg muscles then you can handle this but dont think that you can play 32nd notes at 140 bpm right out of the box....i had to start going to the gym just to have enough control to use this badboy for polyrythms....also the pedal is great for Jazz and Funk...
