DV Mark Little Jazz

Comments about DV Mark Little Jazz Guitar Combo Amp:

I am thoroughly impressed by this amp. Obviously, it is extremely light with a small footprint, making it perfect for small living quarters and small gigs. The sound is very rich, and not at all boxy like most tiny combo amps. The bass response is especially impressive and never flabby. I use this primarily with an epiphone dot and knock-off tele. It portrays the characteristics of the guitar very well rather than imposing too much of its own sound. The overall EQ is relatively balanced. Ideal for clean jazz and blues tones. I haven't tried it with pedals yet. The reverb works nicely for low levels. I sold my Roland 80GX to buy this and I'm very happy with the choice.

Comments about DV Mark Little Jazz Guitar Combo Amp:

I bought this right before Black Friday from Guitar Center online as "New/Clearance." The amp arrived with no manual, warranty, packaging, etc, and looked like somebody had set a coffee on top of it. I left two messages for GC through PayPal and haven't gotten any response. I have many friends that work at my local GC but beware of purchasing from here.

Comments about DV Mark Little Jazz Guitar Combo Amp:

I'm a blues guitarist, play lots of outdoor shows but also smaller clubs. I play a '57 and '61 Strats and I was looking for a small light weight but good sounding amp for the small gigs. I tried the Tech 21 Trademark 30, nice but it had a weird, out of phase sound that you can't get away from. Almost like a wah pedal cranked half way open. Looked at videos of the DV Lil Jazz, and ordered from GC. With 45 watts and 8" speaker, it's all I need. Light weight, but very full, fat sound. The low impedance line out is good if need more volume thru PA. I use a DigItech fx pedal for different sounds and textures and it sounds great! Some amps don't like pedals; this one does. In bigger shows I use Fender tube amps, but the DV Mark Lil Jazz is my "go to: amp for small shows and jams. It is extremely well built, takes up little space, looks good, and just 18 pounds. I highly recommend you give it a try.

Comments about DV Mark Little Jazz Guitar Combo Amp:

Don't be fooled by its size. This little monster delivers clean, thick jazz tones that will have you wondering why it costs onlt 399. Loud enough for a good sized venue, If you love jazz tone and go to the trouble of buying a high level jazz guitar, you have to get a jazz amp to get the most out of it.

Comments about DV Mark Little Jazz Guitar Combo Amp:

Got this as a birthday present for my wife. She LOVES it. It sounds fantastic clean. It takes pedals really well. If you want dirt, just add a pedal. It's very light, and has a remarkably big sound. Quite a bargain.

Comments about DV Mark Little Jazz Guitar Combo Amp:

I've had this amp for about a year now. It's really saved me since I've been playing a jazz gig at an upstairs room in Austin -- it would be an impossible load for me. I'm most often using a 17" carved top archtop with big, flat wound strings. I plug the DI into the club's PA and the overall sound is just what I want to hear. I've also used it with a Gibson ES-335, and an Epiphone Elitist Casino... it works well with these guitars, as well, but the archtop is the best. Since I've been using it for over a year now, I have to also give it good marks for reliability... no problems. The reverb is not the best, but is usable. Also, that dang bright blue pilot light totally obscures the top mounted controls. I've had no issues with fan noise.

Comments about DV Mark Little Jazz Guitar Combo Amp:

The Little Jazz Guitar Combo Amp is a good practice amp for the price.
I practice for hours every day and the noisy fan is a problem. Also the reverb is a joke! It sounds so bad...
8" speaker amp that sounds like that with a lot of volume for the size, not the quality that I have in my Polytone mini brute II.

Comments about DV Mark Little Jazz Guitar Combo Amp:

I can't believe an 8 inch speaker can produce this much bass, coming from my fender champ I wasn't expecting a lot but dang this sounds good. I find myself having to dial bass down quite a bit when I play which is a great problem to have in a small speaker. Very warm sound that takes overdrive quite well. Loud and lightweight, looks good, has a great sounding vibe to it, inexpensive and can push to headphones also for apartment dwellers.
