Overview

Tite-Fit roundwound nickel-plated electric guitar strings are designed to be a great all-around string available in a wide range of gauges. Based on a round core, the construction techniques for the Tite-Fit electrics are very old. However, the core wire and wrap wire in DR's are the latest, most advanced and expensive metals available. Use Tite-Fit strings for flexibility, tone, and long life. These guitar strings sound great for rock, blues, heavy metal, and jazz.

lasts a long time

By Ian

from New Jersey

Comments about DR Strings Tite-Fit BT-10 Big-n-Heavy Electric Guitar Strings:

I use these strings a lot. They last long, they are extremely easy to play and the have a good life to them. I usually play anywhere from 2 to 5 hours a day, and I kept these strings on my guitar for about a month and a half before they got rusty.

Sticking with DR's

By AGIM SINA

from Bristol, Connecitcut

Comments about DR Strings Tite-Fit BT-10 Big-n-Heavy Electric Guitar Strings:

I tried the Heavy set, tite-fit 11-50 DR's and they were great, just weren't great for drop tuning anything else except Drop D and D Standard. Then i tried these on for drop c. They. Are. PERFECT. I was worreid about the 52 on it not being thick enough but i wss wrong, if anything, it took me about an hour to get used to these gauges. And They still stay in tune. i'm sticking with this gauge/set. Maybe once in a while I'll experiment with maybe, rotosounds, or D'addario, but that'll be a while

Fantastic Strings

By Hannah

from Lincolnton, NC

Comments about DR Strings Tite-Fit BT-10 Big-n-Heavy Electric Guitar Strings:

These strings are absolutely PERFECT if you play metal like me. I wasn't expecting these strings to last as long as they have, and I actually expected them to break quite easily. I usually play acoustic guitar quite loudly, so when I picked my electric back up, I still strummed quite hard. These strings, however, have been on my guitar for almost a full year now, and I have been playing for at least 3-5 hours a day. They still have not rusted or faded at all, and they still sound gorgeous. When I play, I usually use a lot of distortion, but there is still a great rich tone to the notes when I solo or whatever. They sound perfectly fine when you're playing in standard, but they're also wonderful for when you want to play down in drop c, drop d, or d tuning. The gauges are, again, perfect for rock, metal, jazz, or whatever you like to play, so you should totally get these. Not kidding. :DDDD
