The Dr Red Devils are wonderful strings, perfect for the metal bassplayer. They look beautiful on my black Warlock and sound wonderful to the ears. The coated strings make for less wear and tear, making them last much longer. Damn, for about 36 bucks a set they better be. Ive had mine for about 4 months and I havent snapped or broken a string. Considering how hard I hit the strings, thats damn good. Two thumbs up, definately.
In over 20 years of playing bass, DR Red Devils are the best bass strings I've ever used. I have a set on my Warwick Masterman bass that I put on a year ago and the strings have held their tone for over 30 shows. I recently got a new set, so I'm good to go for another year!
