    I've been playing for over 25 years and I find DR strings are the best. They hold their brightness longer and the hand wound pure nickel strings seem to last much longer. This combination of larger lower strings up to 9's on top is really nice. The chords ring better and I find the two and three note chords in the middle of the neck are fatter. I get great string bends as well.
