The DR Pro DR259 keeps things simple with a basic low-profile tripod microphone stand with telescoping boom. The boom is 19" and extends to 31". It is height adjustable from 9" to 17". The tripod legs extend to 19" per side.

  • Good Stand

    This is a good stand. The clip doesn't drop the mic and every thing stands straight and sturdy. It is one of the best stands I've ever owned. I would recomend this to anyone looking for a stand like this.

  • Solid Stand

    Bought this stand a few days ago to mic drums with. More than just being a "short" stand, it's pretty versatile as well, allowing me to not only mic a bass drum or snare bottom, but the boom telescopes long enough to let me mic floor toms as well as rack toms. It's a great option as I realize that my mic clips that mount on the drums themselves may be fine for live performance but contribute too much non-mechanical vibration for recording. I'm on my way to buy a few more of these today!
