Comments about dB Groove Drum Shoes:

I was doubtful at First. But, after wearing these shoes while practicing--I think they are pretty close to perfect for playing the base drum and the Hi-Hat. They are light weight and a little snug in terms of width, but no discomfort. The flat rubber sole is much better for traction than leather sole shoes or shoes with tread and or spikes (running or cross trainers). I really like them and would recommend them.

What the Dr. Ordered

By Thomas Battaglia

from Denver, CO

Comments about dB Groove Drum Shoes:

I didn't have high expectations, because footwear is so subjective. However, these shoes have been a pleasant surprise. First, they are super light. They have thin soles to promote feel. The soles are neither too tacky nor too slick. For me, they adhere just enough to not walk during long, high-speed double bass lines. The walking issue was something that prompted me to try these. Many of my shoes would walk forward while playing fast and repetitively. These shoes stay put where I like my feet without being too sticky to move when wanted. They are well ventilated and comfortable. They seem like they would hold up, but they are obviously not made for walking around much outside. If you're looking for something just beyond going barefoot or with socks, this shoe is it.

great investment.

By DANIEL SIRNA

from Austin TX

Comments about dB Groove Drum Shoes:

I?ve been playing for 30+ years. I?ve always enjoyed playing barefoot since shoes slowed me down. I read other reviews and decided to give these a try. If you?re a barefoot drummer, you?ll notice you are not as fatigued at the end of your session. The first time I tried them I noticed my entire body was not as tired as when I was when I was barefoot. These are so comfortable I actually forgot that I had them on and was wearing them around the house and eventually I wore them every day just to go out. If you have sweaty feet you do run the risk of them developing a creepy odor. I contacted GC Customer Support and they didn?t know if the shoes were washable. Trying to find the manufacturer was very difficult. I took the chance and washed them with a load of dark clothes ? I have a front load washer ? so I figured it would be gentle enough. This solved the problem of the smell. I?ve been wearing them indoors, outdoors and playing for a year now and they?re just starting to show signs of wear. I plan on buying another pair if I don?t get them for Christmas.

Fantastic

By Daniel Sirna

from Austin, TX

Comments about dB Groove Drum Shoes:

When I saw Drum Shoes I, and my family, thought REALLY? After reading the reviews and looking at the photos I decided to buy a pair. I?ve been playing for almost 40 years and have always preferred to play barefoot and hated when the venue prevented me from playing that way and taking off shoes and playing in socks wasn?t cutting it. When the shoes arrived I was like a little kid and had to just wear them for a while before actually playing. These are like wearing nothing at all. They are light and feel great. I noticed after an hour long practice of playing to 10 live songs from the likes of Bob Seger, J. Geils and Lynyrd Skynyrd I wasn?t as tired as I had been before playing barefoot. The only thing that I and those who I?ve talked to since playing for the first time with these on is the protection they give your feet there is not as much fatigue traveling up your legs thereby giving you more energy. They are so comfortable I decided to just wear them like they?re just a pair of shoes in the closet but my feet feel great. Well worth the money.

BEST SHOES FOR DBL BASS

By SCOTT GIBSON

from pdx, oregon

Comments about dB Groove Drum Shoes:

If you play dbl bass and dont like your toes /socks getting caught when you switch to the hats, these shoes are for you. they dont distract from playing nor add a lot of weight to throw you off. they also seem to be flat enough to keep the fulcrum point on the pedals the same. I have had them 6 months and use them every day for 1-3 hours per day. no stitching has come undone or any other signs of poor quality. very good buy.

Was Sceptical...Not Anymore

By More Than a Sneaker

from Hazlet,NJ

Comments about dB Groove Drum Shoes:

After thinking about buying these for months, finally broke down and took a chance. I like playing barefoot, but that's not always practical in a bar. These are the next best thing to playing barefoot. In fact, it's better. The sole is rigid and gives good support, but the things are as light as air. Very pleased. Highly recommend.

Comments about dB Groove Drum Shoes:

I ordered these shoes about two weeks ago. All I have to say is that these shoes are awesome. Just the right amount of grip versus slide. And they are very lightweight it feels like you are playing barefooted. I hightly reccomend these shoes if you are looking for that perfect drumming shoe. This is it.

Awesome Drumming Shoe

By Kyle

from RI

Comments about dB Groove Drum Shoes:

I am very pleased with how these shoes feel. Closest thing to barefoot with a very light and thin structure. Id say they are better than barefoot as you have foot protection and the grip of the rubber sole. Breathable material which keeps your feet cool and dry. Bought the same size as my regular shoes and wear them with thin ankles socks as they fit tight and snug. Overal great shoe added so much feel and comfort to playing!

Best shoe for drumming

By Jim

from McMurray Pa

Comments about dB Groove Drum Shoes:

I just bought these and I have to tell you they are the best for drummers. Due to a back injury, I do not have the feel in my feet that I used to. Control was becoming a problem. Not with these. I can actually FEEL the pedals again. If you have a half size, make sure you go up in size when you order. They run on the small side.
