    Comments about D'Angelico EX-DC Semi-Hollowbody Electric Guitar:

Just got this guitar, wanted to upgrade from my fender strat to get a more versatile sound. This guitar feels and plays incredible, I'm able to initiate the neck pickup and get a classic jazz sound, and also crank the bridge pickup for more high end punchy rock sound. Overall a lot more high end than I expected initially, the humbuckers really pick everything up. I also didn't really expect how slim the neck was going to be, its a lot smoother than on a Gibson 335 which I was also checking out. Overall a great solid guitar, and I'm defiantly going to be permanently using it with my bands gigs.

        Comments about D'Angelico EX-DC Semi-Hollowbody Electric Guitar:

I've been playing the DC as my primary gigging guitar for about a year now I suppose, and I've really run it through its paces. I've played it through a dozen different pedals, Fender and Vox amps, played at festivals, clubs, Performing Arts Centers, amphitheaters, radio performances, the works. I can't think of an application that I wouldn't play my DC. Mind you, I'm not playing metal; I play in a band that does Motown/Stax soul, British Invasion, blues rock, stuff like that, and I'm always satisfied. I love how its broken in too, it feels just as good now after playing it night after night as any vintage guitar I've played. And don't let the headstock scare you: it is perfectly balanced and easy to play, none of that neck-heaviness you get from over guitars! And the proof is in the pudding: my sound guy likes it. And that's no mean feat, he doesn't like much! For him, it sits perfectly in his mix, with the right amount of punch, without being overly bright or harsh. A perfect blend of usefulness for the engineer and fun for me. Overall, a dream to play.
