I put a set of these on my guitar on April 7th. It is now May 21st. They're still on there, and they STILL seem fresher than a brand new set of EXL110s. I'm in a touring band, and have played a LOT of gigs on these strings in the past weeks. Intentionally trying to see how long they'll last. I've had NO problems whatsoever. They stretched out in record time, and I rarely have to tune them. Your mileage may vary, but I'm gettin' the best mileage I ever got out of ANY strings. I've been doin' this thing for over 20 years now, and these are the best strings I've ever used. Wanted to hate them, because of their price, but they're actually saving me money, 'cause they last 6 times longer that what I usually get out of a set of strings. And counting. I haven't changed them YET...

I bought these strings along with a set of the new Ernie Ball M-Steel strings, and did a shootout on both my Strats and Les Paul guitars. These we're not even in the same ballpark, and I actually found that my strings we're continuously slipping on both the E and B string. My experiences we're opposite of what Daddario claims in their advertisements. A night and day difference in tone, my band actually asked if my volume or amp settings changed when I switched back to the EB strings. Sorry Daddario, these are not for me.

Comments about D'Addario NYXL1046 Light Electric Guitar Strings:

These strings are great. You can find them always available at the store which is great when in an emergency situation. Have a long life, very consistent from pack to pack, and have a great clear tone. Worth the extra change if you rely on them to sound great and stay in tune. I still play pure nickel strings on some guitars, special order, domestic, and European strings. They are all great strings as well, but these are just as good if not better and much easier acquire when you need them on a professional level.

Comments about D'Addario NYXL1046 Light Electric Guitar Strings:

I have to agree with Brad Tolliver and Matt Goetz. I changed out the strings on my Epiphone Black Beauty 3 and put on these strings this past Sunday. They were highly recommended by my guitar tech. So on Sunday these sounded actually good; solid, strong, stayed in tune for them for the most part but I understand that these are new. Waited two days and tonight, these were awful. I spent more time re-tuning the strings than playing and i am not playing hard at all. Most of the songs that I play are the same ones that I play on my Taylor; Eagles, Bowie, America, Young, etc. I used a Snark tuner on the head, changed out the battery thinking it was going dead. After this didn't work, I pull out my old 24 year old, tried and true, Sabine tuner that I used on the road so many years ago. Still no good. I'd tune the guitar, play a song, and the Dmaj, Dmin, D7, Bmin, Bflatmin, just sounded awful after only a few bars. So again I would have to re-tune the G(3), B(2), E(1) strings and even the E(6) string would go out. I don't understand why this is happening but I guess I'll be changing out with another set this coming weekend.

I really like these strings. I just recently got my electric and these strings were recommended. I definitely like them and would recommend them. Keep in mind though, that these are the first strings I have bought for my electric so I can't speak for any other strings.

Comments about D'Addario NYXL1046 Light Electric Guitar Strings:

I was disappointed with these strings. I bought 2 sets at GC about a week ago to try out on 2 of my Stats. I put the first set on and the high E (Eb actually, as I tune down a half step) string broke within a few days. I had to open the other set to replace it. he sound isn't any better than other non-premium strings in my opinion. After about a week of play the strings have already lost the new string feeling. I won't be buying these again. Especially when I can almost pay for 3 sets of my regulars (Ernie Ball Reg Slinky's) for the price of one pack of these

Comments about D'Addario NYXL1046 Light Electric Guitar Strings:

These strings are well made, and as long as you pre-stretch them like you're supposed to with any string, they'll treat you right. The best part about them is they are made in the good ole USA, which I will go out of my way to support.

Comments about D'Addario NYXL1046 Light Electric Guitar Strings:

The most pure tone ever, they stay in tune so perfectly (i didn't even stretch them out when i first got them), and they sound great in a recording session. these are perfect for ALL genres (from my personal favorites) Metal, Ambient, Blues, ROck. i would HIGHLY recommend anyone to try these stings. but make sure to get the right gauge string to go with your set up of your guitar! don't forget that, that is very in important!

              My New Favorite Set

              By Dillion Eberle

              from Sioux Falls, SD

Comments about D'Addario NYXL1046 Light Electric Guitar Strings:

I usually like to have heavier strings. I usually have my guitars tuned down a half step, and love drop d tuning putting my guitar into c# most of the time. I was hesitant to use 10's but when I put them on it was like magic. On the top strings I can bend up almost 5 steps and return back with my strings still in tune, and that was only an hour after putting them on. No matter how hard I play the strings settle back in tune and haven't broken yet. Other people with tuning issues must have issues with set up, because I only have to tune when my guitar is exposed to temperature change. My strings have been on for over a month and will probably last for another month at least. 10/10 would recommend.
