These were out of stock everywhere about 6 months ago so I bought a refurbished one. I'm now looking for more. I also own a Snark & a bunch of D'Addario headstock tuners. This one is, by far, my favorite. It clips easily onto the guitar top wherever it will be most out of the way for your playing style. It is almost entirely unseen by the audience & nobody will know when you're using it. I've used it on both an old classical & an old Guild Dreadnought. Works great. I'll be buying one for a new Epiphone Joe Pass ES I just got. I'll let you know how well it works with an acoustic/electric in an F-Hole. I think this guy is so accurate because it's sitting right on the guitar top rather than the headstock (but that's just a guess). The only negative is that I read some reviews by others that said if you move it from instrument to instrument the little plastic clip that holds it on breaks easily. So my solution is just buy one for every instrument you have & leave 'em. (No, nobody paid me to say that. :)) I highly recommend this tuner just be gentle & don't drop it inside the instrument when you clip it on. You'll be happy.

Not accurate tuning

Smaller then expected and not accurate tuning. Either a bit sharp or flat compared to other tuners.

Comments about D'Addario NS Micro Acoustic Soundhole Tuner - Color Screen:

I bought two of these one for each of my two most used acoustic guitars. It slipped into the soundboard easily and display is visible. On the Simon & Patrick, favorite guitar (a dreadnought), it worked fine. I tuned it up comparing to the Snark on the head stock the notes were identical. I put in on my Peavey Composer and tuned it comparing to my Super Snark. The tuning was accurate except for the A String it could find the note all other strings were fine. Not sure what the problem was. I'll keep them because they work, easy and unobtrusive.

Comments about D'Addario NS Micro Acoustic Soundhole Tuner - Color Screen:

I bought this for my 1981 Ovation Guitar because it's difficult to mount a head stock tuner due to the shape of the head stock. There is only one good spot in the sound hole to mount this tuner, but once installed it works great.

Comments about D'Addario NS Micro Acoustic Soundhole Tuner - Color Screen:

When I used NS Micro for the first time, I wanted to see how it compared to my other tuners a Super Snark and Smart Phone Pano and had all 3 on while tuning my Taylor. I appeared more accurate than the others but you do have to give it a little more time to zone in on the note. Once I got used to it and learned how to work it, it's now my favorite acoustic guitar tuner. No more ugly headstock tuner!

Comments about D'Addario NS Micro Acoustic Soundhole Tuner - Color Screen:

It works, I tried it in multiple instruments. It is not as fast or accurate as the Korg tuners I normally use. It does have difficulty registering the low E at times, especially on my acoustic bass, tuning to harmonics did take care of this, yet there was still more delay then the other strings. On the guitar it was not as accurate as I had hoped, yet it still works. I am keeping it in my acoustic bass at the moment. One last thing: DO NOT KEEP IT IN AN INSTRUMENT THAT HAS A HUMIDIFIER

Comments about D'Addario NS Micro Acoustic Soundhole Tuner - Color Screen:

I LOVE this tuner. It's so unobtrusive even when being used & the accuracy is excellent because it's clipped directly to the guitar top. Just wish I could could fit it in the "f" holes in my Gibson ES. I now own 2 of them one for my Guild D-55 & one for my classical.
