An ultrafine layer of EXP Coating is bonded to the 80/20 bronze wrap wire, then wound onto the hex-shaped core wire. The result is a built-in barrier against the corrosion and wear that can quickly sap the life out of your strings and your sound. They offer natural round wound feel and will sound fresh and bright 3 to 4 times longer than traditional guitar strings.
80/20 bronze alloy retains flexibility as well as brilliant tone for many hours of hard play. Computer-controlled wrapping around a hex core ensures consistency and extends life. Many top players won't play any other brand.
D'Addario is the world's largest manufacturer of strings for musical instruments. Many top guitarists won't play any other brand. Regardless of your playing style, D'Addario has a set that's right for you.

I've been using D'Addario EXP36 on my 12 string for over 30 years, on my Takamine and now my Guild 12 string guitars. I love them for there clear sound and feel on my fingers. If you have a 12 string guitar I believe you will fine that these strings are great. They are long lasting and have the highest quality in guitar strings. They are made in USA! I love the 80/20 EXP for there looks and there bright sound they give. Please try a set on your guitar and you will be happy!!!!! Thank you, Larry Chisholm of Saginaw, MI
I have used D'Addario strings for along time. I use them on all of my guitars (4 total) two are 12-strings and the other two are 6-strings. I am proud and enjoy the great sound and long lasting. I use EXP-10's and EXP-36's and I believe they are the best strings and they are USA made!! Please give them a try and I believe you will be happy you did!! I give them 5 Stars and a +. All of my guitars are acoustic. Thank you, Larry
When I first bought my Breedlove electric/acoustic it came with a set of EXPs. I had never used or even heard of them before but I immediately fell in love with them. I play frequently and do a lot of recording and before I always used Martin Marquis. I discovered that the EXPs not only had a brighter and more balanced tone but that they also lasted at least 5 times longer than the Marquis. Where before the most time I would get out of a set of Marquis was about 2 or maybe 3 weeks, I found that I only needed to change the EXPs every couple of months! Even when the EXPs start to lose their brightness and tone it's not nearly as sudden as with the Marquis. I believe that these are the best strings on the market-period. If you play acoustic guitar you can't go wrong with these strings. I would recommend them above all others!
